Man of the Cliff is an inclusive, lumberjack competition open to people of all ability levels! This single day festival is your chance to don your favorite flannel and try your hand at axe throwing, keg tossing, speed chopping, and more! All the while, enjoy craft brews, local food trucks, and mountain town vibes. 100% of event proceeds benefit families living with multiple sclerosis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The town of Avon has free public parking and is easily walkable to the festival’s site. With multiple parking locations, we ask to only park in public spots such as Avon Elementary School. Old Town Hall lots are off – limits and only available for vendors.
Your safety is our priority! Please be responsible and have a designated driver, call a taxi, or take the free bus service if you plan on driving.

Man of the Cliff donates 100% of funds raised to Can Do Multiple Sclerosis. Check out their website to learn more about Can Do MS and how they deliver health and wellness programs to help families living with MS thrive.
Man of the Cliff is open to all genders and modifies events for all strength and ability levels! You must be age 18 or over.
Can you put a price on the best day of your life? If so, it’s $88 to pre-register and participate in the MOTC events or $100 to register the day of.
Just want to come out and watch? There is no cost but a $10 donation is encouraged.
The town of Avon has free public parking and is easily walkable to the festival’s site. With multiple parking locations, we ask to only park in public spots such as Avon Elementary School.
Parking will fill up quickly, so we urge you to take the ride ECO transit. If you do drive, make sure to have a designated driver!
We love dogs and other pets as much as the next person, but for competitor, spectator (and pet) safety, pets are not allowed.
Items found before, during, or after the event should be turned into the main registration area. Items may be passed to the local authority, donated to charity, or disposed of at the discretion of management after 30 days.

Photography/ Videography
Entrance onto event premises provides Man of the Cliff with your consent to use photographs and videos for festival promotional purposes.
Allowed & Prohibited
The following items are NOT PERMITTED in the event area:

- ᅠ NO animals other than service animals
- ᅠ NO outside food, drinks, or alcohol of any kind
- ᅠ NO coolers or backpacks
- ᅠ NO plastic bottles (the Town of Avon is plastic free). Nalgene’s and reusable water bottles are okay, but single-use disposables are not.
- ᅠ NO bottles, cans, growlers, and/or camelbacks purchased outside the event area
- ᅠ NO smoking. This includes cigarettes, cigars, and marijuana.
- ᅠ NO frisbees and/or beach balls
- ᅠ NO noise-making devices, specifically air horns with sirens and/or whistles
- ᅠ NO fireworks
- ᅠ NO illegal drugs
- ᅠ NO weapons and dangerous devices of any type
- ᅠ NO panhandling or soliciting
ᅠProhibited Behaviors
- Disorderly conduct and/or throwing of projectiles.ᅠ
- Loitering in or entering competition areas without being called into the area by a Volunteer, Staff member or Judge.
